How long does it take?
Tattoo time varies depending on the size, placement, and level of detail. Smaller pieces usually take 1–3 hours, while larger or more intricate designs can require multiple sessions spread over several weeks or months. I will always give you a clear time estimate once the final design is approved.
Does it hurt much?
Pain levels are different for everyone and depend on the area of the body. Many clients describe it as uncomfortable but manageable — similar to a strong scratch or hot pinprick. I’m happy to take breaks whenever you need them and will guide you through the whole process to keep you as comfortable as possible.
How should I care for it?
Keep the tattoo clean and well-moisturised with the aftercare products I recommend. Avoid soaking it in water, direct sunlight, tight clothing, or picking at any scabs. I will provide full written aftercare instructions on the day of your session, and I’m always available if you have any questions during the healing process.
Do you offer touch-ups?
Yes, touch-ups are available once the tattoo has fully healed (usually 6–8 weeks after the original session). The first touch-up is free of charge touch-up.
What should I avoid before a session?
For the best experience, avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications for 24 hours beforehand. Make sure you’ve eaten a good meal and are well-hydrated. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed.
